Legal
Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 July 2026
These terms apply to your use of the Complaia website in its current, pre-launch form.
What this website is
This website provides general information about AI compliance and the EU AI Act, and introduces the AI compliance platform Complaia is building. The Complaia platform is not yet available — this website is a pre-launch site, not the product itself.
Joining the waitlist or guide sign-up
Signing up to the platform waitlist or the guide sign-up is free and does not create a subscription, contract, or any commitment to purchase the future Complaia platform. It simply means we'll contact you about what you signed up for, as described in our Privacy Policy.
When the Complaia platform launches, it will be governed by its own terms of service, which may differ from these terms and will be presented to you separately at that time.
Not legal advice
Complaia provides general information and practical guidance relating to AI compliance. Content on this website — including the future transparency guide, and any assessments or classifications the Complaia platform may offer in future — is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Complaia does not replace qualified legal counsel.
Whether a particular obligation under the EU AI Act applies to you depends on the specific facts of your business, your role (as provider or deployer), your use case, the AI system in question, and the wider regulatory context. Two businesses using similar AI tools may have different obligations. You remain responsible for your own compliance decisions and actions, and we recommend obtaining professional legal advice where the answer matters to your business.
We aim to keep our information accurate, complete and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current, or applicable to every situation. The Complaia platform is intended to support your compliance work — for example, by helping you organise information and understand what may apply — not to make legally binding determinations on your behalf. Any assessments or classifications the platform provides should be understood as compliance support, not a substitute for professional legal assessment where one is required.
Intellectual property
The content, design, branding and text of this website belong to Complaia, unless otherwise stated. You may view and share pages of this website for personal, non-commercial purposes, but may not copy, reproduce or reuse the content for commercial purposes without our permission.
No warranty, limitation of liability
This website and its content are provided “as is”. While we take care to keep information accurate and up to date, we make no warranty that it is complete, accurate, or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Complaia is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory Danish or EU law.
Changes
We may update these terms as the website and the Complaia platform evolve. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any dispute arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts.
